What is an ICS file?
ICS (iCalendar, RFC 5545) is the standard text format for calendar events. Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, Thunderbird and mobile apps all open it.
How do I add the event to my calendar?
Open the downloaded .ics file (double-click or import it) and the event is added. You can also attach it to an e-mail as an invitation.
Which time zone is used?
Times are written as local (floating) time, so they appear exactly as entered in the recipient's zone. All-day events use the date only.
Is the event data uploaded?
No. The file is created locally in your browser and never sent anywhere.
