Task board for kids
A digital version of the wooden “My tasks” board: pictures a four-year-old understands, each with a big red / green switch underneath. Stand a tablet in the bathroom or by the shoe rack and the child checks off the morning and the evening alone.

How the board works
- Open the board on a tablet (or phone or computer) and tap ⚙️ settings.
- Name the board (your child's name works well), adjust the parts of the day (Morning, Evening, maybe Afternoon) and pick tasks with pictures.
- During the day the child taps finished tasks — the switch under the picture slides from red to green. When a whole part of the day or the whole day is done, a little celebration appears.
- On a tablet add the page to the home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) — it opens like an app, without the browser bar.
Tips for parents
- Start with 4–6 tasks per part of the day. Less is more — the board should be clear, not a list of duties.
- Let the child flip the switches. The point is not control but seeing what is done and what is still ahead.
- Order the tasks the way they happen — the routine teaches itself.
- Put the tablet where the tasks happen: the bathroom, the shoe rack, the table.
Local or with an account?
Without signing in the board is stored only in this device's browser (localStorage) — nothing is sent anywhere. If you create an account (e-mail and password), the boards are also stored on the server and appear on all your devices; we store only your e-mail, a hashed password and the board contents, and you can delete the account any time.
FAQ
Do I have to sign up?
No. The board works right away and is stored in this device's browser. An account is optional — useful when you want the same board on the tablet and the phone.
Does it fit a tablet screen?
Yes. The tile size adapts so the whole board is visible at once without scrolling — in landscape and portrait.
What happens the next day?
After midnight all switches go back to red by themselves. The tasks and settings stay.
Can the child break the board?
Settings sit behind a parent lock (a simple math question), so the child only flips the switches. The lock can be turned off.
Can I have boards for several children?
Yes, as many boards as you like — each has its own name and they switch with the tabs at the top.
What data do you store if I create an account?
Only your e-mail, a hashed password and the board contents. You can delete the account with its data any time inside the app.
